Rita Yadav showed black flag to PM Modi
Rita Yadav (35), wife of Santosh Yadav, resident of village Lalu Ka Pura Sonavan of Chanda Kotwali area, had recently come into the limelight when PM Modi reached Arvalkiri rally in the district. Rita Yadav had shown them the black flag. After this, Rita Yadav joined the Congress in the presence of Priyanka Gandhi in Amethi. On January 3, Rita Yadav went to the city in a jeep. The jeep was driving Mustakim resident Pratappur Kamaicha. Rita Yadav was returning home in a jeep at around 6.30 pm.

Bullet hit Rita’s leg
On the way, three bike riders overtaking the jeep and stopped them and shot Rita. The bullet had hit Rita’s leg. Taking the incident seriously, DIG/SP Dr. Vipin Kumar Mishra entrusted the responsibility of disclosing it to CO Lambhua Satish Chandra Shukla. Lambhua Inspector Narvadeshwar Tiwari was engaged in the investigation of the case under the supervision of the CO.

Firing on himself for getting tickets

CO Lambhua said that when the police questioned Dharmendra Yadav alias Bhole resident of Rajpur Tateri, driver Mohammad Mustakim resident of Pratappur Kamaicha police station Chanda Sultanpur, the incident came to light. Police have recovered a pistol and cartridges from Dharmendra. Dharmendra and Mustakim told that Rita Yadav, along with her acquaintance former village head Madhav Yadav, had shot herself in a planned manner to get the ticket of MLA from Congress party in the upcoming assembly elections.

Police raided the city and arrested Rita Yadav

Mohammad Mustakim, Manapur resident Suraj Yadav, Manapur Kotwali Chanda resident Madhav Yadav and one other person were involved in the firing incident. After interrogation, Sub-Inspector Chitra Singh along with the police team raided Sultanpur city and arrested Rita Yadav. The CO said that the drivers Dharmendra Yadav alias Bhole, Mohammad Mustakim and Rita Yadav have been arrested. Efforts are on to arrest the other absconding accused.
