UK’s emergency response to sinking migrant boat under investigation

LONDON: Britain’s Marine Accident Investigation Branch is probing the response of British authorities to a boat carrying migrants that sank in December with at least four deaths.

Concerns were raised about the speed with which emergency services responded to distress calls from passengers, which included teenagers and unaccompanied children.
