Ride-hailing apps are bringing back shared rides with improvements. Can sharing wealth put them back in the driver’s seat?

After a pandemic-related hiatus, Uber Technologies started piloting A new shared-ride program at the end of last year. The company said on Tuesday that it has rolled out the revised program in several US cities such as New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago. dub Uber X Share, the program will expand to more cities later this summer.
