Twelve killed, dozens injured in Russian missile attack in central Ukraine – police

KYIV: Three Russian missiles hit the center of Vinnytsia city in central Ukraine on Thursday, killing 12 people, including a young child, and wounding dozens.
The National Police said an office block was hit, residential buildings nearby were damaged and a medical center was destroyed. Ninety people sought medical attention and about 50 of them are in critical condition, police said.
In the video footage, black smoke could be seen billowing out of a high-rise building and sirens sounded when emergency personnel reached the spot.
