American Airlines Group Will pay three times their normal pay to work pilots who were accidentally dropped a computer glitchThe union representing American pilots said.

The Allied Pilots’ Association union said Wednesday that its board has ratified an agreement with the airline that covers extra payments for trips affected by a problem with the airline’s scheduling platform over the weekend. The union had said the system inadvertently allowed pilots to skip thousands of future trips on Saturday morning, leaving 12,075 July flights without a captain or first officer or both.
