Ten people died Friday at a Travis Scott concert in Houston, Texas, with victims aged between 9 and 27.

John Hilgert of Hunters Creek Village was identified Saturday by officials at Memorial High School as one of the deaths at the concert, where he was a freshman.

Hilgert attended Friday’s concert with her longtime friend Robbie Hendrix, 15.

Hendrix’s mother, Tracy Faulkner, bought tickets for her son’s birthday and ‘eventually regretted the decision’.

‘Everything about that night was a tragedy,’ Faulkner told Houston Chronicle, ‘They were both in the same place at the same time and one came home and one we would never see.’

She said that Hilgrett and Hendrix had known each other for years and played football together.

‘John was a good student and athlete and very polite. He was the sweetest and smartest young man,’ she shared.

Jacob Jurinec attended a concert with his best friend Franco Patino when the two were crushed to death. The couple grew up in the same Illinois city of Naperville.

Anna was distraught by the death of a friend named Lisa Marie, who was studying arts and media at Southern Illinois University, and traveled to Houston with Patino to celebrate Zurinek’s birthday.

The University of Dayton confirmed to DailyMail.com that Franco Patino, a student from Naperville, Illinois, attended the concert in Houston on Friday.

The mechanical engineering technology major was involved in several campus extracurriculars and most recently working in a co-op program in Mason, Ohio.

University President Eric F. Spina extended his sympathies and prayers to Patino’s loved ones and the campus community.

Patino’s fraternity, Alpha Psi Lambda, also issued condolences to their friends and family.

The organization wrote on Facebook, ‘It is with a very heavy heart, Alpha Psi Lambda National, Inc. has shared that our brother, Franco ‘Cuahoselotl’ Pattino, has moved to Omega Chapter.

‘We extend our condolences to his family, friends, Alpha Nu Chapter and all those who took part in this loss. May his memory be eternal.’

Dubinsky studied at the University of Mississippi between 2016 and 2017 and worked in advertising and marketing. Tulsi Mirza Baig on Saturday announced on Facebook that her brother Danish Baig also died at Astroworld.

Baig wrote, ‘My brother was killed in this horrific incident, which was poorly managed and was being monitored by such horrible people.

‘People were trampled, walked and stoned. My brother tried to save my sister-in-law from these horrible acts that were being done to her, she lost her life in the process.’

Baig described Danish as a beautiful soul who kept everyone in front of him.

‘Last night he showed his courage to save my sister-in-law from the terrible things that were being done. I am lost in words and true trauma from this incident,’ he said.

‘I was there and I was not able to save my brother. People were jostling and not caring about anyone’s life.

Baig also accused the rapper of “jumping into the crowd by calling people on stage” and creating a ruckus for “not stopping the show”.

Shahani, a Texas A&M senior, was critically injured at Astroworld and was on a ventilator at Houston Methodist Hospital, where he was taken after the concert.

He was declared brain dead and was taken off the ventilator soon after. She was the ninth person to die due to overcrowding.

His family said that this was the first festival Shahani attended.

Her family’s lawyer, James Lassiter, said: ‘Bharti was a shining star in the community.’

Blount was the tenth and youngest person to die from injuries sustained at the Astroworld festival.

He was crushed in concert, placed in a medically induced coma and was on life support for a week before dying due to his injuries.

The young boy spent the concert sitting on the shoulders of his father, Treston Blount.

Treston died of lack of oxygen and, once we regained consciousness, he was unable to locate his son.

By the time the father-son duo were reunited, Blount had suffered brain swelling as well as ‘almost all limb trauma’.
