David Moyes facing the chops?

Sticking with West Ham for the time being, it looks like manager David Moyes could face the ax if his team fail to beat relegation rivals Everton this weekend.

The pressure is slowly mounting on Moyes as his team is unable to break out of the relegation zone. They are one point away from safety but beat Everton in 19th place on goal difference.

This weekend’s clash is vital to their chances of staying in the top flight and West Ham are reportedly preparing to move on from Moyes should he fail to beat his old club.

Another ex-Everton boss, Rafa Benitez, is touted for the job with Moyes now tipped by bookies to be the next Premier League boss to be sacked.

Danny Ings is receiving treatment at West Ham

Danny Ings has traveled to London to undergo a medical assessment with West Ham after the club agreed a deal for the striker to join them from Aston Villa.

The Hammers are prepared to pay around £15million for the England international, who will hopefully provide some much-needed goals for David Moyes’ side.

Ings has scored six Premier League goals in 18 appearances for Villa this season and should add competition to the Hammers’ frontline alongside Gianluca Scamaca and Michael Antonio.

West Ham have scored only 15 goals in 19 games this league, with their lack of form in front of goal being a major factor in why they are in the relegation zone.

Arsenal agree Leandro Trossard fee with Brighton

Trossard’s current contract expires in the summer, albeit with an option to extend, which is why his price is relatively low for a 28-year-old with recent proven Premier League experience. Although Brighton did not want to let him go too cheaply.

His representatives are desperately pushing for a deal and while there has been interest from a range of clubs, Arsenal represented by far the best option. Trossard is naturally keen on the move and has been pushing for it, given the good relationship between the clubs.
