Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man wanted in connection with a suspected hate-motivated prank investigation. Toronto,

Toronto Police said that at around 6:25 p.m. on July 13, officers received reports of a hate crime in the Dundas Street West and McCall Street areas.

Police said anti-Semitic graffiti was found in the front of the statue.

Officials are now looking for a man in his 50s with medium stature, brown eyes and brown shoulder-length hair.

According to the police, the man is bald and has brown and white spots on his face.

He was seen wearing a black T-shirt with the “Tobacco” logo on the front, a black sleeveless hoodie, faded black and gray jeans and adidas sneakers with blue soles.

Officials said the suspect was also wearing a watch on each wrist and was carrying a black drawstring bag.

“After consultation with the Service’s Special Hate Crimes Unit, the investigation is being treated as a suspected hate-motivated crime,” police said in a news release.
