Toronto Police A man is said to have been found dead in a street on the east end of the city and the circumstances of his death look suspicious.

Police said a man was located in an alleyway in the Gerrard Street East and Woodbine Avenue area around 8:07 p.m. Thursday.

Investigators said the man was seriously injured but was declared brought dead at the scene.

He also said that the death appeared suspicious.

Forensic investigation is on the spot.

The age, gender and circumstances surrounding the death were not released.
