A man has been taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries in a vehicle-motorcycle collision. TorontoParamedics say.

Toronto police said the collision occurred in the Jane Street and Falstaff Avenue areas just before 6 p.m. Friday.

Officials said a motorcycle and car collided to the south of the intersection.

According to police, the motorcyclist was “thrown away from the motorcycle.”

Police said officials received reports that the motorcyclist was unconscious.

Toronto paramedics told Global News that a middle-aged man was taken to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries.
