Football fans have mixed reactions to Tom Brady’s retirement, with some applauding the legendary quarterback’s decision while others are in disbelief

Tom Brady announces ‘retiring for good’

A Giants fan told Fox News, “He’s a dinosaur now, leave it.” “He should retire, he’s a goat, give someone else a chance.”

Brady announces his retirement on social media Wednesday morning about the seven-time Super Bowl champion holding multiple NFL passing records and leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the playoffs during the 2022 season, falling for cowboys in the wild card round.

“I can’t believe he’s retiring,” said one woman. “I mean, he played so long. Good luck to him!”

Brady’s retirement decision comes one year after his opening day said goodbye to booksonly to announce his return less than two months later.

“I’m not really sure if he’s really retiring,” said Rory, of Connecticut. “I hope he … is the quarterback for the New York Jets next year.”

Brady has won the Lombardi Trophy seven times and has more Super Bowl wins than any quarterback to ever play football.
