Threatening letter: Mumbai Police records Salman Khan’s statement

Mumbai Police has recorded his statement in connection with a letter threatening Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his father. An official gave this information on Tuesday.

He said his statement was recorded on Monday evening before Khan left for Hyderabad.

Earlier, the police had recorded the statement of the actor’s father, noted screenwriter Salim Khan, in connection with the investigation.

Police had also beefed up security around the actor’s residence in suburban Bandra.

According to a police source, the letter said, “Salim Khan, Salman Khan will be your Moosewala very soon… (Salim Khan, Salman Khan, very soon you will meet the fate of Moosewala.)” Unknown to Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. was killed by the attackers. Last month in Mansa district of Punjab.

An unidentified person dropped the letter on a bench of Bandra Bandstand where Salim Khan was sitting after his morning walk on Sunday.

A case under section 506-II (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered at Bandra police station.
