The impact of our success will be felt in Bengal: BJP

After several electoral setbacks in the state since the assembly elections last year, West Bengal BJP On Thursday, he claimed that the party’s victory in the assembly elections in four of the five states has made it “strong”. Encouraged by the party’s success, especially in the Uttar Pradesh elections, the state leadership took out a victory rally in the city. Party workers distributed sweets among the people and played saffron.

State BJP president Sukanta Majumdar said the impact of his party’s results would be felt in West Bengal as well. “We are on the back foot here now but BJP will fight till the end to oust TMC in Bengal,” he said. The impact of our performance in UP and other states will definitely be felt here. This will boost the morale of our leaders and workers here. This will motivate us to do better in Bengal in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and 2026 assembly elections as well,” Majumdar said.

He also exuded confidence that the BJP would remain in power at the Center after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. “There is a saying that the way to Delhi for a political party passes through Uttar Pradesh. Today’s result shows that Narendra Modi g will [again] Become the Prime Minister of the country after 2024 (Lok Sabha elections). We want to dedicate this election victory (in four states) to the people. Now every state would like to see what development the Prime Minister has done.

Majumdar also took a dig at TMC for failing to win the Goa Assembly elections.

“(Chief Minister) Mamata Banerjee Went to Goa to play football as it is a football-loving state. He believed that his “khela hobe” (game on) slogan would work there as well. But he and his party have scored 10 goals in Goa.

The BJP MP from Balurghat also said that with AAP’s victory in the Punjab Assembly elections, the Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal Now there will be “true contenders” to lead the opposition coalition. “A lot has been said on who will become the face of the opposition in 2024. Our leader is Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now TMC has no presence outside Bengal. Apart from Delhi (where it is the ruling party), AAP has now won in Punjab. So now Arvind Kejriwal has the moral basis to be the face of the opposition. Mamata Banerjee’s leadership is now facing a challenge.
