“After careful consideration and many memorable moments together, Stefanos and I have decided to amicably separate,” she wrote. “We have shared a journey full of love and learning, and it is as friends with the utmost mutual respect that we now choose to proceed on our paths.

“We are grateful for the support of our friends, family, and everyone who has been a part of our story. As we enter this new chapter of our lives, we wish each other the best in all of our endeavors. We ask for nothing else but privacy during this time, and we thank you for your understanding and respect.”

Tsitsipas did not immediately post about the breakup.
