JACKSON COUNTY, MO (KCTV) — A teen died during a hay ride Saturday evening in Jackson County.
Jackson County Sheriff Darryl Fort’ said the incident took place in the 13000 block of Pratt Road, an unincorporated area of Jackson County, at around 7:40 p.m. Saturday.
According to crash reports, a seven-year-old boy was stuck to the trailer when he fell and got hit by the trailer. He was taken to Lee’s Summit Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The names of the teens have not been disclosed.

Deputies were dispatched to the 13000 block of Pratt Road, a non-incorporated area, at 7:46 am with an agency assistance with EMS. A teenager was seriously injured during the ride.
