Teen Covid death NSW: Osama Suduh’s family trolled by anti-vaxxers who question whether they have virus

Merciless anti-vaxxers have kidnapped the death of a teenage boy to hatch a dangerous conspiracy about Covid.

Osama Suduh, from Sydney’s COVID-affected south-west, was moved to intensive care and placed on life support after testing positive for COVID-19 last week.

The 15-year-old was hospitalized with pneumococcal meningitis — a life-threatening infectious disease that causes inflammation of the layers surrounding the brain and spinal cord — and only tested positive. coronavirus on his arrival.

Osama’s life support was cut off Sunday night and his bereaved family faces a tragically cut short life.

Trolls have used the tragedy to advance their agenda, arguing that because Osama was battling two different conditions at once, his death should not be linked to Covid.

Officials and family members have not claimed that Covid was the primary factor in Osama’s death, only that he was diagnosed with the virus.

Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick, where Osama was being treated, confirmed his death on Monday and confirmed that he had covid at the time, although it is not believed to be the cause of his death.

Regardless, a Covid-denial said it was ‘disgusting’ that medical officials revealed that he had the virus, despite first seeking the family’s blessing to discuss his case.

The woman said, ‘I could not believe for a second that it was COVID. ‘Stop the fear spreading hatred.’

NSW Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant reiterated on Monday that he died of COVID.

Osama had received his childhood vaccination for pneumococcal meningitis, but Dr Chant said it was possible he was not protected from the particular strain he was diagnosed with.

Osama’s distraught relatives had earlier prayed to the Islamic community that he would be miraculously recovered before it was too late.

The woman was outraged that a community group shared photos of Osama, urging friends and family to keep the teen in their prayers, as his life support was set to be discontinued.

The post read, ‘Please ask the most powerful, most merciful Allah to remove the disease from the body of our young brother Osama which leaves no trace of existence.

The woman responded that NSW Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant could talk about ‘another child’ during a press conference on Sunday, in which she revealed that a 15-year-old boy was fighting for life as he Was battling covid and meningitis.

‘You should have given the real reason from the beginning. The video may also point to another child, not necessarily the same one,’ she wrote.

Naomi Cook, a former nurse who falsely claimed that residents of disadvantaged cities were being forced to take the vaccine against their will, was a vocal critic.

‘My heart goes out to his family. But he didn’t die of Covid,’ he said. Cook does not know the boy or his family.

A woman named Sarah declined to be told what, if any, she had, urging her to contact the family overnight to discuss Osama’s treatment.

The woman claimed, ‘I am researching the drug that they have approved for use in Kovid patients and it actually causes severe reactions which lead to death.

Mourners criticized the woman for using the tragedy to fuel her dangerous rhetoric.
