John Abraham made headlines in his recent release Ek Villain Returns. The actor and model, who has done stupendous work in films like Dhoom, Jism and Desi Boyz, announced his next venture on the occasion of India’s 75th Independence Day. The announcement of his new film piqued the interest of fans and cine lovers alike.
The Batla House actor shared the first poster of his upcoming film ‘Tariq’ on his Instagram on Monday. While it is unclear what the film will be about, the poster shows a lone oak leaf with a glowing background. On the professional front, John Abraham is all set to play a leading role in Siddharth Anand’s Ek Tha Tiger and the spy spin-off of War franchise ‘Pathan’. The much awaited film will also feature Shahrukh Khan And Deepika Padukone as the main lead. Salman Khan And Hrithik Roshan will be reprising his roles as “Tiger” and “Kabir”. Considered to be Yash Raj Films’ most expensive project, fans can’t control their excitement for the film to hit the silver screens.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, John Abraham had shared how his Pathan co-star Shah Rukh Khan is responsible for his success. He had shared, “Shahrukh Khan is there, how can I say, he is responsible for where I am because he was the judge on the show when I started modeling. That’s why I owe a lot to Shahrukh, maybe for him it was just another contest that he judged. I have a very deep respect that I can’t really talk about. But, he is a wonderful person. She is very charming, she is lovable and supremely intelligent. Thats all I can say.”
The Jhootha Hi Sahi actor had further said, “I can’t speak more than this as Pathan is still in the making. I am now going back to shoot for Pathan throughout April. It is an honor to work with him.”
