A glamorous lawyer posted a hilarious birthday message to her friend a few weeks before she was revealed to be in a relationship with her husband.
High-profile Sydney fund manager Charlie Aitken split from his wife of more than 20 years, Eli Aitken, two weeks ago.
Mr Aitken has since confirmed that he is in a relationship with Holly Nassar, the wife of Mr Aitken’s investment partner Chris Nassar.
The split caused a major downturn for the company, Aitken Investment Management, with Mr. Nasser resigning from his position as director of the board and Mrs. Aitken stepping down as an executive.

Aitkens founded Comani with Mr. Nasser as a major investor.
“I can confirm that I have separated from Ellie Aitken and am in a relationship with Holly Nassar,” said Mr. Aitken daily Telegraph,
‘My only focus is on my children and I will not comment further.’
Mr. Nasir, a wealthy campaigner, is separated from his wife, but remains silent about the split.
“While this affair has affected me and my children greatly, it is a personal matter and I do not want to go into detail about it,” he said.
The relationship surprised many as the couple had been friends for years.
Ms Aitken is a former Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions Counsel at Clayton Utz and a one-time Director of the NSW Polo Association.

A few weeks before the split was confirmed, Aitken – a lawyer and at one time a fashion designer – shared a post on Instagram in which she gushed about her close friend Holly and shared several photos of the two together.
“Happy birthday to my beautiful (Holi). You are very lucky in my life. Here’s to sharing many more good times together in the years to come.
Mr Aitken is believed to have moved out of the family and is now living with Ms Nasir in a serviced apartment in Bondi Junction.
Ms Aitken is a former Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions Counsel at Clayton Utz and a one-time Director of the NSW Polo Association.
However, in 2011, she transitioned out of the legal realm and into luxury lifestyle fashion with the launch of her label Aitken & Co.
