All the major cities of Jammu and Kashmir are in the grip of winter. On the other hand, winter has started in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. The temperature has dropped below zero in most places there. Neelum Valley, Khagan, Natiya Gali, Skardu and Gilgit-Baltistan received the first snowfall of this season on Thursday.

Thousands of tourists are leaving Islamabad to visit here, causing traffic jams in some towns of the valley. Traffic jams are not common here. Because on normal days the traffic is very less here. Schools and colleges have been closed due to fresh snowfall.

Roads closed, most areas cut off from main roads
Most of the roads in PoK have been closed due to snowfall. Snow is being removed from the main roads. But movement in rural areas has come to a standstill. Adventure tourism is starting at the identified places.
