Shivsena changed its Lok Sabha Chief Whip

After a massive rebellion by MLAs, Shiv Sena today appointed a new Chief Whip in the lower house, fearing a rebellion in the Lok Sabha. In a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, Shiv Sena Parliamentary Party leader Sanjay Raut said, “You are informed that Shiv Sena Parliamentary Party has nominated Rajan Vichare, MP (LS) as its chief. has done. Whip in Lok Sabha in place of Bhawna Gawli, MP (LS) with immediate effect.

Shiv Sena has 18 members in Lok Sabha and three in Rajya Sabha. The new chief whip of Shiv Sena is the Lok Sabha MP from Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s area. Gawli, MP from the Yavatmal-Washim region, had recently suggested that the Shiv Sena should go with its natural ally, the BJP.
