Raj Kundra was on Monday granted bail in the porn film case after he was arrested on the night of July 19 for alleged production of obscene films. Soon after the news, Kundra’s wife, actress Shilpa Shetty took to his Instagram story to share an insightful thought. Kundra is likely to be released from jail today i.e. on September 21 at 10:30 am.
Shilpa, who recently resumed shooting for Super Dancer 4, shared a quote that read, “Rainbow exists to prove that beautiful things can happen after a bad storm.”
Kundra, while filing the fresh bail plea, had said that he was being made a “scapegoat” in the case and there was not even a single evidence of his being actively involved in the manufacture of the alleged suspicious material in the supplementary chargesheet. The Metropolitan Court had granted bail to Kundra on a surety of Rs 50. Kundra was arrested on July 19 after registering a case under relevant sections of the IPC and the Information Technology Act.
Meanwhile, Shilpa recently shared a heartwarming post for her sister Shamita Shetty, who returned home after completing a 42-day stint on Bigg Boss OTT. “And my tank is back. You can’t get out of this tight squeeze @shamitashetti_official. Welcome home #sisterlove #sister #bosslady #sistersquad (sic), ” she wrote alongside the photos.
Shilpa had earlier praised Shamita’s efforts inside the Bigg Boss house. She captioned her post, “My tanki is in top 5 and I am such a proud sister. His honesty and dignity made me happy to see myself coming through this journey inside the #BiggBoss house. You are already my winner my dear. Hope you all make him the Bigg Boss winner of #InstaFam (sic).”
Even on the Raksha Bandhan special episode, Shilpa sent a video message to Shamita, reminding them of the strong bond they shared as brother and sister. Amidst tough times for the family, Shamita entered Bigg Boss OTT as a surprise contestant.
