Shilpa Shetty has lauded the women of India for their strength to fight against all odds, even in the absence of her husband. The Bollywood actor made this comment on the sets of the dance reality show Super Dancer Chapter 4. Shilpa recently returned as a judge on the show after keeping a low profile post following the arrest of her husband and entrepreneur Raj Kundra in the porn app case. .

Shouting out to the freedom fighter and the women of India, Shilpa would say, “Whenever I hear about Rani of Jhansi, the face of the society comes before my eyes. Even today a woman has to fight for her rights, her honor and her children when her husband leaves. This story (of Rani of Jhansi) gives us women the strength to fight and not give up. She fought with all her might, and what a fight! Rani of Jhansi was indeed a super woman. This was the reality. This is our history. It gives me great pride that we come from a country with such fearless women. Given any situation, we women have that power to fight. I bow to all the women who fight for their rights.”
Shilpa Shetty, who recently made her acting comeback with Hungama 2, went on a three-week break when husband Raj Kundra Caught in a legal matter.
A source from the show told indianexpress.com that the team was always eager to get Shilpa back, but she wanted to take her time. “Producers were in constant touch with her, and recently she decided that she is ready to make a comeback.
