One Ontario A family celebrates after winning half a million dollars playing Lotto Max.

Ontario lottery And Gaming Corporation (OLG) announced in a statement on Wednesday that six members of the family, who are from Toronto and Ottawa regions, won half of the $1 million maxmillian Prize in the October 7 draw.

If divided equally, each gets approximately $83,333.

The statement said that Siobhan Quinlan, Barbara Quinlan, David Quinlan, Andrea Merrick, David Merrick and Shannon Steele play together when the jackpot is large and individually “all the time”.

Shannon bought the winning ticket when all the group members gave him the numbers to play.

Siobhan checks the tickets and realizes they have won, then shares the news to the rest of the group.

“I’m so excited to think of all the opportunities,” Siobhan said.

David said that when he was told he had won, he was “stunned.”

OLG said some family members plan to give away their share of the winnings, while others will foot some of the bills.

OLG said the winning ticket was purchased at the Essential Plus Mart on Matthews Street in Marmora, Ontario.
