The Central Government has directed all the Ministries and Departments to revise the pension of employees issued on compulsory retirement as per the provisions of the Seventh Pay Commission.
Taking back the 2017 orders, the Department of Pensioners and Pensioners’ Welfare has stated that there shall be no reduction in the amount of family pension calculated as per earlier orders, including in cases where Early Compulsory Retirement Pension or Compassionate Allowance amount is minimum. full pension.
Accordingly, pension or family pension will be revised with effect from January 1996, January 2006 and January 2016 in the case of pre-1996, pre-2006 and pre-2016 retirees respectively.
