in the police Woodstock, Ont.., are asking motorists and members of the public to avoid an intersection in the south-west of the city as part of an active investigation.
Few details were provided, but police said Friday afternoon they remained on the scene of an investigation at Mill Street and Sixth Avenue.
“Please observe all road closures and if possible stay away from the area,” police said on social media shortly before 1:30 p.m.
An inquiry to Woodstock police by mid-afternoon had not been returned by publication time.
