Rajasthan Royals opener Yashasvi Jaiswal hit third fastest half-century IPL 2021 On Saturday when he took just 19 balls to score a half-century against Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Rajasthan chased down 190 runs smoothly, with seven wickets and 15 balls to spare, as Shivam Dubey scored 64 and 50 respectively with Yashasvi.
After the match, he told the Indian Permy League website in a video conversation that he was really happy to have signed CSK captain MS Dhoni with the bat.

“I was looking at the wicket first, but we were chasing 190, I knew the wicket had to be good. I just wanted to capitalize on the loose balls and give my team a good start so that we can chase 190,” Jaiswal told teammates Anuj Rawat and Shivam Dube in a video posted on iplt20.com.
“I am really happy that after the match I got MS Dhoni’s signature on my bat,” he added.
“When I went to bat there we were on top and I was just trying to play my natural game so that we can chase the target fast,” Dubey said.
The win means Rajasthan now have ten points from 12 matches and have jumped to sixth place in the points table by Mumbai Indians, who have four teams with ten points. Rajasthan Royals will next take on Mumbai Indians at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
