Woman: I thought we were resting hands.

Pain: Can’t comfort them when I’m so tough!! Need to de-stress… finish me off with those lips 😉

Penn said in his press conference that he was acquitted of these investigations, which found that he did not violate the code of conduct.

His wife Bonnie, to whom he has been married for five years, was also aware of the messages, but chose to stick to it.

“Though I was acquitted, I deeply regretted the incident then and still do,” he said on Friday.

‘I spoke to my wife and family at that time and am very grateful for their forgiveness and support.

‘We thought this incident was behind us and I could focus solely on the team, as I have done for the last three or four years.

‘However, I recently learned that this private text exchange is going to be public.

‘On thought, my actions in 2017 do not meet the standards of an Australian cricket captain or the wider community.

‘I am deeply sorry for the hurt and pain I have caused to my wife, my family and the other side. I am sorry for the damage done to the reputation of our sport.
