Rajasthan: Police used mild force on farmers protesting in Hanumangarh – Bharat Times Hindi News

Mild force was used to push back the farmers who allegedly tried to enter the Hanumangarh Collectorate during a protest demanding purchase of rice at minimum support price. The farmers tried to enter the collectorate to press for their demands but the police closed the gate. Police said some farmers jumped from the gate and entered the premises, forcing them to use mild force.

“Farmers were trying to forcibly enter the premises. So, they were pushed back into force against them,” said Raghuveer Singh Verma, a member of the Hanumangarh district committee of the United Kisan Morcha. He said that the strike would continue till the demands of the farmers were met.
