Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) has announced that electricity will be cut off in parts of Chennai today to carry out maintenance work in the city.

Electricity will remain shut in parts of Chennai from 9 am to 2 pm, and supply is expected to resume before 2 pm when the work is completed.
