Foley, Ala. (Wala) — A Foley man is in hospital with a gunshot wound to his neck, and his brother is accused of shooting him, according to the Foley Police Department.
It was just before 7 a.m. this morning, according to Foley Police Chief Thurston Bullock, when a Foley Police Sergeant noticed a white Chevrolet vehicle driving him near the South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in N.N. Passes at high speed to the north on Mackenzie Street.
Bullock said the sergeant followed the vehicle into the hospital parking lot and a man later identified as Germaine Darrell Hurd, 33, of Foley, covered in blood near the hospital door.
After further investigation, the major said, it was determined that the victim had been involved in an argument with his 33-year-old brother, Dwayne Terrell Heard, who was also of Foley, who pulled a revolver and seized the vehicle. I fired several shots. Germain.
