Poland, Lithuania want nuclear curbs in new EU sanctions on Russia

BRUSSELS: Poland and Lithuania want the European Union to impose sanctions on Russia’s nuclear sector as part of new sanctions against Moscow and Minsk for the war in Ukraine, senior diplomats from both EU countries said on Friday.
Diplomats said the EU’s leading Russia hawks will propose that the bloc ban more “Russian propaganda” media outlets and cut more Russian banks off the SWIFT global messaging system.
