So long, 2022. Hello, 2023.

There is an influx of people celebrating the new year around the world.

Last year, with the rapid spread of the Omicron coronavirus variant, many cities around the world scaled back their celebrations – some canceled their events altogether.

But this year, we may see a return to something closer to the norm. For example, New York’s Times Square is expected to return to full capacity.
