(CNN) – Nobody is getting protection.
Transportation Security Administration officials at Boston’s Logan International Airport on Tuesday discovered a long blade inside a passenger’s cane.
TSA spokesman Dan Vallejo said the man said “he had no idea the blade was there.” said in a tweet, After questioning by the Massachusetts State Police, the man surrendered the cane and was cleared to continue his journey.
It is not uncommon for blades to be concealed in seemingly ordinary objects.
