Packers, Aaron Rodgers ‘fully aware’ offseason trade is a ‘very real scenario’: report

Rodgers entered the offseason possibly playing his final game as a Packer after failing to make the playoffs for the first time since 2018.

On Saturday, NFL reporter Adam Schefter noted that a trade for Rodgers is known green bay building as a real possibility.

“Both sides are fully aware that a trade for Aaron Rodgers is a very real scenario,” Schefter reported on “Postseason NFL Countdown.”

“The Packers are expected to move on from some players, which Aaron Rodgers probably won’t like. The issue here will be the $110 million remaining on his contract and which team can afford it. But there is a real possibility that, at some point, But this season, Aaron Rodgers is going to be traded.”

Rodgers signed a four-year extension in the off-season to remain in Green Bay.

Prior to the Packers’ Week 18 game against the Detroit Lions, Rodgers was asked about the possibility of playing his final game at Lambeau Field, and four time MVP Admitted that the thought crossed his mind.

“I mean, of course, just because you don’t know what the future holds, ” Rodgers told reporters. “But when I think about it, it’s nothing but gratitude. No regrets or sadness, just gratitude for the time I am here, the wonderful memories I have made on this ground.

“There have been so many great moments, but I am still undecided. We are all undecided about the future.”
