One Ontario The man says he is worried about his access to food, water and other essentials after his parents survive Earthquake that destroyed parts of turkey and Syria.
Sefi Tomar, who lives in Woodbridge, Ontario, says his Canadian parents are in their 90s and moved back to Turkey during the pandemic.
He says he was forced out of his home when the earthquake struck his village in southeastern Turkey, but is now worried about his ability to find basics like food and ongoing shelter.

He says that some of his distant cousins and other acquaintances have been killed in the earthquake.
More than 11,000 people were killed and thousands of buildings destroyed in the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck on Monday morning.
