One dead, three more taken to hospital after accident near La Broquarie – Winnipeg | Globalnews.ca

A 61-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 52 near La Broquarie.

Police say that on July 8, a minivan was going east on the highway when an SUV going west collided with the van crossing the center line.

Officers came to see both the vehicles on their roofs.

The minivan driver was declared brought dead, while two passengers in the van, a 54-year-old woman and a 12-year-old boy, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Steinbach’s 38-year-old SUV driver was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He has been discharged from the hospital and charges are pending.
