Walsh appeared with Warriors CEO Cameron George who said the incident was a ‘one-off’ and that he would support the young star through the process.

The Warriors confirmed Sunday morning that Walsh was involved in an incident and had informed the NRL Integrity Unit of the police investigation.

“The Warriors CEO Cameron George has confirmed that Reece Walsh was arrested last night following an incident on the Gold Coast,” the club said in a statement.

He said he had met with Walsh this morning and informed the NRL Integrity Unit.
