Rain likely in seven states
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be rain in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh on Monday. It will be cloudy in some areas. However, the weather is likely to clear after that.
Madhya Pradesh: Cold will increase in most areas of the state
Meteorologist PK Saha said that from Monday, there is a possibility of increasing cold in most areas of the state including Bhopal. The days have turned cold again due to the rain on Sunday. Bhopal recorded 1.2 mm of rain till 8.30 am. Due to the cold wind blowing at a speed of about 20 km, the mercury fell by 5 degrees to 21 degrees during the day. Delhi: People will be seen trembling due to melting
According to the Meteorological Department, it will be a cold day in Delhi on Monday. That means it will be cold. People will be seen shivering due to the recession. At the same time, from January 25 to January 27, there will be moderate to dense fog in some areas. Fog will trouble people from 28 to 29 January. The minimum temperature of Delhi from Monday to Wednesday will be 7 degree Celsius. At the same time, the minimum temperature is expected to be 6 degree Celsius on Thursday and Friday. The maximum temperature is likely to remain 15 to 18 degree Celsius throughout the week.
Delhi has recorded 88.2 mm of rain till Sunday morning, the highest in January in years since 1901.

Punjab: January rains broke 10-year record
January rains in Punjab have broken the record of last 10 years. According to Manmohan Singh, Director, IMD Chandigarh, this is the highest rainfall observed in January since 1983.
Maharashtra: It may rain in Mumbai for the next two days.
The effect of the continuing cold across the country is visible in Mumbai as well. Mumbai received unseasonal rains on Saturday and Sunday and due to this a sharp drop in the temperature has been recorded here. The minimum temperature has reached 16 degrees in many parts of Mumbai.

According to meteorologists, severe cold will continue in Mumbai for the next one to two days. According to the Santacruz Meteorological Department, it is getting so cold in Mumbai after 10 years. The maximum temperature recorded in Mumbai (during the last 24 hours) till 8.30 am on Sunday was 23.5 degree Celsius. It was 5.8 degrees below normal.
