Rajasthan: Now till January 27, cold wave

Punjab: January rains broke 10-year record
January rains in Punjab have broken the record of last 10 years. So far, 100 mm of rain has been received in 23 days, while 17.5 mm of rain has been received in one day during the last 24 hours. 10 to 37 mm of rain was recorded in 16 districts. According to Manmohan Singh, Director, IMD Chandigarh, this is the highest rainfall observed in January since 1983.

According to meteorologists, severe cold will continue in Mumbai for the next one to two days. According to the Santacruz Meteorological Department, it is getting so cold in Mumbai after 10 years. The maximum temperature recorded in Mumbai (during the last 24 hours) till 8.30 am on Sunday was 23.5 degree Celsius. It was 5.8 degrees below normal.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to the strong dust storm coming from Balochistan, Pakistan, the visibility and cold has increased in Mumbai. This weather will continue for the next one to two days. Cities like Nashik, Pune and Aurangabad recorded the maximum temperature below 25 degrees Celsius.
