NASCAR Xfinity Series Driver Ryan Sieg was involved in a scary incident at Dover International Speedway during the A-Game 200 on Saturday.
Sieg stopped in Turn 2 on Lap 28 because of a fire under his hood. He managed to park the vehicle near the apron and escape from the burning car.

“I am fine,” he said. fox sports Later. “There was a lot of smoke in there. There was no sign of what happened and then suddenly it caught fire… We had a pretty nice car, at least I thought, we’re going to be there, after everyone’s sorted it out Waiting. It’s just useless.”
Sieg finished 37th in the race – one place above JJ Yealy.
Ryan Truex finished ahead of Carson Kvapil to win the race. Sam Meyer, sheldon creed And Cole Custer rounded out the top five. AJ Allmendinger, Chandler Smith, Kyle Weatherman, Anthony Alfredo and Parker Retzlaff rounded out the top 10.

Truex said, “I can’t believe it, our car was finally good when it mattered, I was very loose all day.” Via NASCAR.com, “Shout out to Carson, what an amazing race, his second race. I felt a little bad racing him up the hill, but you’ve got to take these things while you can.
“I think I held my breath the last two laps. Love these fans. Love this track.”
He is the younger brother of NASCAR Cup Series star Martin Truex Jr.
Justin Allgaier Won Stage 1 and Custer won Stage 2.

Smith leads Custer by one point in the drivers’ standings. Austin Hill is in third place, with Jesse Love and Allgaier in fourth and fifth, respectively.
