Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has asked Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray to relocate the 60 million metric ton per annum Refinery and Petrochemicals Complex project from Ratnagiri to Vidarbha. It was to be set up in Ratnagiri district and needed to be relocated due to resistance from local organizations and other reasons.
With a total of 16,39,172 students, the Maharashtra Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination began on Tuesday after a gap of one year, following a massive increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in the state. According to officials, the examinees were given an additional 10 minutes to read the question paper. Where students were expected to sit until 10, half an hour before the start time, they were given the question paper at 10.20.
