The garden has two entrances; On the right side of a street where on the left you have the historic Chaitya Bhoomi (pilgrimage), a Buddhist religious place where Dr BR Ambedkar was cremated. Many people who visit Chaitya Bhoomi later spend some quality time inside the garden.

The main entrance is located across the road from the historic Shivaji Park ground, where the great cricketer Sachin Tendulkar Took in sports as a child.

As you enter the garden from the main gate, a huge arch reminiscent of the Gateway of India welcomes you. Constructed by the Swami Narayan Mandir Trust in 2009, the arch houses 1,008 Ganesh idols, carved in various postures.

Just behind the arch, you can see the vast sealink from Bandra to Worli, possibly the only beach that offers a panoramic view of the structure.

The whole garden is divided in two by a concrete path. There are green pastures of grass on one side and red soil on the other.

The garden also has a dome surrounded by bleachers made of rocks on one side which is a favorite place to visit for college goers.

As the sun sets, many youths who come from far and wide practice their dance under the dome. At a distance, a soft cushion mat has also been laid out for these dancers to practice their risky moves like flips and head spins.
