Washington: Several people were killed or injured in two separate shootings in the US on Thursday as President Joe Biden urged Congress to take action against gun violence.
“Enough is enough,” Biden said in an impassioned address to the nation, after mass shootings he said had turned schools, supermarkets and other everyday places into “murder zones.”
Around the same time Biden was speaking, shots were fired outside a church in Ames, Iowa state. Police later said that three people, including the shooter, were killed.
