London: In Lancashire, UK, a mother stabbed her 18-year-old son to death by another teenager on Friday.
Abdikarim Abdullah Ahmed was attacked by a 16-year-old boy on Friday.
He was treated on the spot but later died in the hospital.
Her alleged attacker, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with murder.
Abdikarim’s mother, who was also not named, described her son as “a loving, caring person who helped and cared for his family from a young age.”
In a statement released through Greater Manchester Police, she said: “My handsome boy Abdi passed away at a very young age and with his whole life ahead of him. He was taken from us too soon, and in the worst possible way.
“My boy was a victim of a knife crime. I request all the parents to talk to their children and know what is going on in their life before carrying their child. ,
