Volodymyr Zelensky arrived at Buckingham Palace Today, ahead of a meeting with King Charles III on 8 February.
Mr Zelensky’s surprise visit on Wednesday, February 8, is his first to Britain since Russia invaded Ukraine almost a year ago.
In his speech to hundreds of MPs gathered in parliament, Mr Zelensky urged the UK and Western allies to provide “wings to freedom” by supplying their air forces with advanced jets.
The Ukrainian leader’s meeting with the king came after he spoke with Rishi Sunak to discuss military aid and a new training program for jet fighter pilots.
