Karachi: After the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) was attacked twice, MNA Ali Wazir of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) has requested the authorities to either send him back to jail or to attend the National Assembly session. be transferred to Islamabad.

The jailed MLA, facing sedition and hate speech charges, said Parliament has issued orders to produce him for attending tomorrow’s budget session.

Wazir was taken to the hospital a day earlier for a routine checkup.

Speaking outside the hospital late on Wednesday night, he said, “I am first talking about the production order issued to me by the Parliament House and secondly I have been attacked twice. So pity me.” Do it and send me back to jail.” ,

He said “let me know” if either request is “illegal or unconstitutional”.

On the complaint of the government, a case was registered against the South Waziristan MLA and Manzoor Pashtin and Mohsin Davar among others at Karachi’s Sohrab Goth police station. It was filed on December 7, 2020, when Wazir and others had addressed a public rally in the same area a day earlier.

According to the First Information Report (FIR), the organizers of the rally did not take prior permission to organize the event. “The speakers at the rally used abusive words against the Pakistan Army, Rangers and others,” it said.
