Massachusetts police fatally shoot woman after her family requested a health check

Police in Massachusetts Authorities said a woman who was allegedly carrying a weapon was shot and killed after a family member requested a health check-up.

Police Chief Keith Boone said in a statement that officers in the city of Easton found a 56-year-old woman with a weapon in a home. He did not say what kind of weapon he was carrying.
