Marlins minor league affiliate uses 4 consecutive hits by pitches for comeback win

Miami Marlins’ Double-A Minor League Baseball Affiliate The Pensacola Blue Wolves had one of the strangest walk-off wins of all time against the Biloxi Shukers on Sunday night.

Blue Vahoos 6-4 . were down In the ninth floor. An infield error, a walk and a hit from the pitch loaded Pensacola’s bases. Louis Aviles Jr. was the batsman who hit the pitch and this set the stage for a strange sequence of events.

Pensacola’s Ray-Patrick came after Dider anvils and hit a pitch too, scoring a run to cut Biloxi’s lead to just one run. After traveling up a mound, Coby Fletcher-Vance also collided with a pitch, causing a tying run.

Bubba Hollins came out to bat and he too collided with a pitch. The game-winning run was scored and Pensacola would go on to win 7–6 without recording a single hit in the ninth inning.

The Blue Wahoos tweeted after the game, “Season 5 of Stranger Things is going to be just this innings.”

Pensacola scored its 25th win of the season and led the Southern League South Division with a 25–21 record. Biloxi, one Affiliated with Milwaukee BrewersFell to 23-26.
