Marks & Spencer website and app down as retailer apologises to customers

The website and app issues come just days after Marks & Spencer is expected to report a bumper year with a jump in annual profits.

The high street staple has enjoyed strong sales in its food hall and clothes and home arm, with a significant makeover planned in recent years including cost cutting and store closures.
