Paul Ansell, 44, Ms Bulley’s partner of 12 years, with whom she lives in Inskip, commented in a statement: “It’s just perpetual hell. This is absolutely unbelievable.

“We’re living through it but it doesn’t feel real. All we can say is we need to find her. She has two little girls who need their mommy home.

“We’ve got to have some good news now.”

Speaking to broadcasters on Friday, He added: “We’re never going to lose hope, but right now it’s like she vanished into thin air, it’s just crazy.

“I can’t believe we are one week in and yet it seems we are no further, it seems downright impossible.

“It’s like a dream, I can’t get my mind around it.”
