Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting at the Walmart checkout line. Police retaliated at a shop near North 103 Street and West Silver Spring Drive shortly before 7 p.m. Monday. According to eyewitnesses, three men were arguing over their place in the line when one of them opened fire. A cashier said she was away from the men before the shooting. Other customers and employees ran to the back of the shop. Police said a 31-year-old man from Milwaukee was shot. He later showed up at a hospital and was expected to have survived.
